Spun in Galvanised Steel it is dipped in molten zinc during manufacture which creates a rustic Hot Dipped Galvanised finish that's completely weatherproof.

If fitting onto a narrow beam (smaller than the diameter of the ceiling rose) either use a blanking plate or seal the ceiling rose with silicone. This will ensure the fitting stays watertight.
